Daily Eats {July 31, 2017}

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I decided to record another day of eats for you. Remember that these posts are meant to show you that having freedom from food, feeling good in your body, and maintaining your body’s natural weight is possible! Always listen to your body.

Breakfast (9 am)

I woke up at 6am this morning with the morning light shining in my window and the birds chirping outside. I wasn’t hungry when I woke up so I had some water and completed some work. When 8:30/9am rolled around my stomach was growling and I was ready for a hearty breakfast. I decided to eat last night’s leftovers for breakfast; african groundnut stew and jasmine rice. I felt satisfied and ready to do some more work.

Lunch (2 pm)

I started to get hungry again at 1pm but I was driving home from a meeting and wanted to prepare something so I didn’t have lunch until 2pm. I had baked pesto broccoli, corn on the cob, and baked potato. I ended up leaving the second half of the potato and opted in for a second serving of the broccoli salad.

Dinner/snack (5 pm)

I’m not really sure what to call this because it wasn’t exactly a full meal but more than a snack. I wanted something crunchy and I was craving chocolate. There was no chocolate in the house so I settled for two handfuls of walnuts and some more broccoli salad.

Snack (6 pm)

I was still craving chocolate so I made a chocolate peanut butter smoothie with bananas, cacao powder, maca powder, peanut butter, dates, water, and cacao nibs.


In the evening I taught a yoga class and went to the gym for half an hour. Over the course of the day I drank about 2-2.5 litres of water. I recorded everything in my Break Up With Your Diet journal. What did you eat today?
