18 Jan 15 Minute Yin Yoga Video | On Your Moon Time Practice
Happy New Moon. Yesterday I decided to film my 15 minute yin yoga practice to share with you during this moon time. For this practice I highly recommend a bolster and yoga block. If you don’t have these props you can get creative and use various items such as pillows and books from around the house.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced meditative type of practice. In this video we hold each pose for about three minutes. Yin yoga allows the connective tissue of the body, such as the tendons, ligament, and fascia to release which leads to increased flexibility, decreased stress, and increased circulation. During this practice allow yourself to dwell within the body, connecting to any subtle sensations of the breath or body.
